At Rock The Walk Children's Ministries, it is our sincere desire to equip, educate, and enable our children to find their place in the kingdom of God. With the help of caring, godly teachers, age-appropriate instruction, multimedia lessons, and a variety of kid-engaging worship, crafts, and games, we endeavor to reach every child who joins us each Sunday morning at 11am. Our prayer is that our children will leave each week strengthened, renewed, and reminded to Rock the Walk everywhere they go, representing Christ at home, at school, and throughout the community. The Pre-Teen Sunday School Class "Soldiers for Christ" are a group of Cornerstone kids that have chosen to make a difference and experience the Word of God. Our class does what James 1:27 says, "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world." We want to reach out to our church members and our community to be a helping hand whenever we can. We want to be doers of the Word and not only hearers. We want to keep ourselves pure and be active subjects within the Kingdom of God. Pray for our class that God can use us in a mighty way!

The eight to nine year olds class; a fun, exciting, and great place to learn about God. Here we focus on learning how to search for scriptures, locate the books of the Bible and memorize the Old and New Testament. This age group is just beginning to focus on the realization that they need and want to be filled with the Holy Ghost. It is a time where the importance of repentance, the infilling of the Holy Ghost and being baptized in Jesus' Name is placed in their hearts and the decision to live for God is a decision they have to make on their own. We also learn stories in the Bible and how to apply the lessons to our own lives and current events.

Greetings from Cornerstones beginners Sunday school class! Our aim is to create an environment where children can make a decision to serve God at the very beginning of life, believing that when they are old enough to repent they are old enough for salvation. Please pray for our classroom that our small beginning will lead to great things in God. "For who hath despised the day of small thing..." -Zachariah 4:10"Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase." -Job 8:7

Hello my name is Lori Whitmire; currently the kindergarten Sunday school teacher, teaching children 3-5 years of age. I enjoy teaching Sunday school primarily because I am able to plant seeds in the hearts and minds of these young children regarding the word of God. I know this will stay with them for the rest of their lives, and no matter their journeys in life, they will be protected, strengthened and saved by God's infallible word. What better way can I give back to the kingdom of God! In turn, these kids bless me so much with their honesty, love, and eagerness to learn about the one true God, Jesus Christ!
